The Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club, a member of the Victorian Premier Cricket competition, is seeking the services of an experienced non-playing Senior Head Coach.



The successful applicant will lead a young yet talented playing squad, which features six players currently involved in Cricket Victoria’s Emerging Pathway Squads (three of whom represented the club in several First XI games in season 2020/21).



The new appointee will be supported with a number of specialist coaches and an outstanding high-performance team featuring highly qualified strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and medical staff. The club has also recently revamped its clubrooms and changeroom facilities at McQueen Park and plans are in place to create a new gymnasium in the coming months for the benefit of our players.


Given our location in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the club also has access to a number of local clubs and schools who provide a constant pipeline of talent into the club.



The Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club is seeking an experienced Senior Head Coach who can demonstrate:

  • Previous Senior Coaching experience;
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills;
  • The ability to implement a comprehensive coaching program in conjunction with the assistant coaches;
  • Assistance with the development of our players to higher honours;
  • Serious intent to further develop and maintain the culture of a Premier club;
  • Minimum Level 2 CA Coaching Accreditation;
  • A skill set that represents the Club’s goals and values.


Remuneration and contract length will be negotiated with the appointee.
