Swans top score, Organ hits ton for Heat
Date of Event Victorian Premier Cricket: Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:15PM
Greenvale's Akash Dahri takes a ripping catch today to dismiss Tom Rogers

It was a much more pleasant day for Premier Cricket after the last three weekends. One century was registered, twelve half centuries and one five-for.

Casey-South Melbourne posted the highest total for the day with 9/329 against St Kilda at the CitiPower Centre. Luke Wells (65), Nathan Freitag (69), Jordan Wyatt (61) and Mitchell (58) all did well with the bat for the Swans.

Footscray, Geelong, Frankston Peninsula, Melbourne and Ringwood all tallied good to moderate scores, while Dandenong may be in strife against the Blues.

The Cats tallied 203 against the Lions. Tyler Larkin (89) and Dom McGlinchey (52) pulled their side out of trouble with a 93-run sixth wicket stand. Fitzroy Doncaster has its nose marginally in front, finishing on 3/117 at stumps.

Prahran has taken the upper hand in their clash with Camberwell Magpies at Camberwell. The Magpies were bowled out for 121 with spinner Sam Grimwade (3/26) and quick Andrew Perrin (3/39) doing most damage. The True Blues have already claimed first innings points and were 4/146 in reply at the close.

Frankston Peninsula's Englishman Felix Organ scored his maiden century with a brilliant 128 against the Bombers. Struggling at 7/155, Heat pair Organ and Nick Boland (47*) added 115 for the eighth wicket. Organ scored his runs from 168 balls and hit 13 fours and 3 sixes.

Footscray declared at 9/305 against Northcote at Merv Hughes Oval. Skipper Dylan Kight (70), Travis Dean (63) and Hamish Winter-Irving (56*) did best. Northcote leggie Joe Medew-Ewen (5/70) registered the only five wicket haul for today. Ironically it was against his former club.
