Prahran clears out on top
Date of Event : Mon Nov 19, 2018 3:18PM
Prahran's Alana King has taken 17 wickets at an average of 5.29 this season

More runs to Jess Duffin as Prahran made short work of Melbourne in Women's Premier Firsts. Duffin has now scored 569 runs at the amazing average of 189. Her Prahran team-mates Alana King (17 wickets @ 5.29) and Annabel Sutherland (15 @ 6.47) head the bowling as the True Blues have cleared out, nine points clear on top of the ladder.

Carlton-Brunswick's Ellie Mason, with 69 in the Strikers' win over Box Hill, took her aggregate to 402 runs at 57.43, second behind Duffin. Anna Lanning (52) top-scored for the Mustangs.

Just six points separate second-placed Box Hill from seventh-placed Plenty Valley in a really tight competition.

EMP stars Nat Schilov (40*) and Molly Strano (40) ensured a bonus point in their win over Dandenong.

Providence Cowdrill (58) guided Plenty Valley to a win, but Ringwood made them fight hard. Megan Ciavarella (4/23) bowled well for the Bats and Kylie Walters (32 & 3/12) recorded a good double for Ringwood.
