Inglis and Sutherland fire for Prahran

Annabel Sutherland raises her bat for the ton at Ringwood today

Carlton-Brunswick has arrived in Women's Premier Firsts in style today with a comprehensive win over Dandenong at Princes Park #1 Oval.  UK import Ellie Mason (103) was the star with the bat.


There was to be no fairy-tale ending for Ringwood however, with the Rams well beaten by Prahran at Ringwood.


Prahran pair Annabel Sutherland (106) and skipper Emma Inglis (108) saw Prahran to an imposing 5/293, before rolling Ringwood for 89. Kylie Walters (2/41) and Olivia Thomas (1/43) were the pick of the Rams' bowlers, while Sutherland (4/26) and Alana King (3/8) did most damage with the ball for Prahran.


Box Hill registered a hard-fought four-wicket win over Melbourne, guided home by skipper Bec Carter (77*).


Plenty Valley successfully defended its modest 127, bowling out EMP for 120. The stars for Plenty Valley were Sophie Day (47) with the bat and Rhiann O'Donnell (5/14) and Tayla Vlaeminck (4/23) with the ball.
