Three positions available at Northcote

Northcote Cricket Club has three positions available for the forthcoming season 2017-18. The positions are General Manager, Game Day Manager and Social Media/IT Manager.

 

The overviews of these positions appear below, but detailed roles & responsibilities, position description & remuneration package can be provided upon request.

GENERAL MANAGER

 

Northcote Cricket Club currently welcomes professionally skilled applicants to the part-time position of General Manager for season 2017-18.
 
You will embrace the club’s progressive vision and culture as a key custodian committed to its legacy as a competitive and relevant elite cricket club of Premier Cricket in Victoria.

 

You will have demonstrated experience and skills in key areas such as governance, finance, marketing, sponsorship, high performance (coaching/playing), local council experience, community engagement, and MyCricket management.

 

You will be able to effectively coordinate and implement strategic operational functions with key partners and stakeholders which will include (but will also not be limited to) the Northcote Cricket Club Board, Cricket Victoria, Darebin City Council, Banyule City Council, State Government/associated bodies, sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, coaches, players, members, and supporters. 

 

You will be accountable to the Northcote Cricket Club Board for management and implementation of match day management, event management, social media, property management, administration, secretariat duties, reports, revenue streams, and MyCricket.

 

You will possess demonstrated information technology skills to communicate with key target audiences by hard copy, electronic mail, social media, and websites.

 

GAME DAY MANAGER

 

Northcote Cricket Club currently welcomes professionally skilled applicants to the part-time position of Game Day Manager for the Victorian Premier Cricket fixture in season 2017-18.
 
You will embrace the club’s progressive vision and culture as a key custodian committed to its legacy as a competitive and relevant elite cricket club of Premier Cricket in Victoria.

 

You will have demonstrated experience and skills in key areas such as hospitality, finance, marketing, sponsorship, local council experience, community engagement, and MyCricket management.

 

You will be able to effectively coordinate and implement strategic operational functions with key partners and stakeholders which will include (but will also not be limited to) the Northcote Cricket Club Board, Cricket Victoria, Darebin City Council, Banyule City Council, State Government/associated bodies, sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, coaches, players, members, and supporters. 

 

You will be accountable to the General Manager and other Northcote Cricket Club Board members for management and implementation of match day operations as per the Cricket Victoria handbook and Northcote Cricket Club strategic plan in conjunction with event management, social media functions, property management, administrative duties, and MyCricket operational functions.

 

You will hold a Victorian driver’s licence, Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulations (VCGLR) certificate for responsible service of alcohol, and Working With Children Check.

 

You will possess demonstrated information technology skills to communicate with key target audiences by hard copy, electronic mail, social media, and websites.

 


SOCIAL MEDIA/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

 

Northcote Cricket Club currently welcomes professionally skilled applicants to the part-time position of Social Media / Information Technology Manager for the Victorian Premier Cricket fixture in season 2017-18.

 

You will embrace the club’s progressive vision and culture as a key custodian committed to its legacy as a competitive and relevant elite cricket club of Premier Cricket in Victoria.

 

You will have demonstrated experience and skills in key areas such as sales, finance, marketing, public relations, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, local council experience, and MyCricket management.

 

You will be able to effectively coordinate and implement strategic operational functions with key partners and stakeholders which will include (but will also not be limited to) the Northcote Cricket Club Board, Cricket Victoria, Darebin City Council, Banyule City Council, State Government/associated bodies, sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, coaches, players, members, and supporters. 

 

You will be accountable to the General Manager and other relevant Northcote Cricket Club Board members for management and implementation of social media and information technology functions related to online mediums (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, website), electronic scoreboard advertising, club publications, and MyCricket.

 

You will possess formal qualifications and/or demonstrated information technology skills to communicate with key target audiences by hard copy, electronic mail, social media, and websites.

 

You will hold a Victorian driver’s licence, Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulations (VCGLR) certificate for responsible service of alcohol, and Working With Children Check.
