Just because you don't play cricket doesn't mean you can't become involved with a cricket club. Being a part of a cricket cricket club can be an incredibly rewarding experience, whether you are a scorer, administrator, masseur, scoreboard attendant, team manager, practice captain, support staff, kiosk co-ordinator, coaching assistant, selector, committee-person or social member.

Footscray Edgewater Cricket Club is looking for a range of appropriately qualified people to fill our newly created coaching structure.

Director of Coaching
The successful applicant will lead and co ordinate a team of specialist coaches, which includes Merv Hughes (one of the specialist bowling coaches). Level 2 Coaching Accreditation required. We are seeking a Senior Coach, playing or non-playing for season 2010/2011. The North Melbourne Cricket Club is affiliated with the Victoria Premier Cricket Competition of Cricket Victoria.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

• Have a strong ability to plan training and coaching programs
• Develop a strong club culture
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Must have level 2 Cricket Coaching accreditation
• A passion to develop young cricket players
• Be highly motivated and driven to achieve club success
• Have a commitment to actively participate in and embrace all aspects of the clubs off and on field activities
