Rule 12 - Instructions to Clubs

12.1	REPORTS OF MATCH RESULTS AND PLAYER AVERAGES
12.1.1	Match Report All clubs shall lodge on Cricket Victoria's website a full scorecard of each day's play for each home game. First Eleven scorecards shall be entered before 8.30 pm on match day and emailed or telephoned to AAP for newspaper publication. Games in other grades shall be entered by midnight on match days.
12.1.2	Players Averages All clubs shall lodge with the Premier Cricket Manager on or before 30 April the batting and bowling averages of all First, Second, Third and Fourth Eleven players. For the purpose of computing averages the innings of a batsman retired owing to illness, injury or some other unavoidable reason, must be counted as not out.
12.2	UMPIRES : APPOINTMENT AND PERFORMANCE
12.2.1	Appointment and Payment of Fees Umpires for all matches shall be appointed by the Pennant Committee. Umpires' fees shall be fixed by the CV Board, paid by CV and the total amount divided equally and charged to all Premier Clubs.
12.2.2	Report on Performance All home clubs shall lodge with the Premier Cricket Manager, within 72 hours of the termination of each home match, reports on each umpire's performance. These reports shall be compiled by both home and away captains.
12.3	CAPTAINS' APPRAISAL OF CONDITIONS All home clubs shall lodge with CV within 72 hours after the termination of each match an Appraisal of Conditions Report compiled by each captain.
12.4	NON-COMPLIANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS A club failing to comply with any regulation requiring submission of a report or submitting an incomplete or incorrect report may be fined a sum to be determined by the Pennant Committee.
12.5	AMENDMENT OR REPEAL OF CV PENNANT RULES
12.5.1	Amendments to Rules Clubs may lodge with the Premier Cricket Manager on or before 30 April, any suggested amendments or alterations to the rules for CV matches.
12.5.2	Repeal of Rules Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, any rule may be repealed or altered by a majority of CV delegates at a scheduled Delegates Meeting or at a Special Meeting called for the purpose.
