Rounds 4 & 5
A GREAT START
With three rounds under our belt, it's been a great start to the season. Ringwood, Camberwell Magpies and Northcote head the ladder undefeated and only Casey-South Melbourne and Dandenong have yet to register a win.
Despite being without a main oval for the first part of the season, the Rams and the Dragons have begun well, but each faces the tough trip to Geelong over the next two rounds. If they can emerge with the points, it will be another big hurdle overcome. The Geelong v Ringwood clash in Round 5 is the Final re-match from 2007/08 and should be a fascinating game.
Camberwell Magpies has also started the season well and face very "winnable" matches against the Lions and the Heat in the next two rounds.
Special appreciation is extended to Croydon and Noble Park sub-district clubs, for assisting Ringwood and Richmond respectively with the loan of their grounds last Sunday.
