Milestones
Congratulations to each of the following players, umpires and scorers on achieving significant milestones.
Round 3
Prahran's Steve Seymour played his 50th Premier 1st XI match.
Round 4
Paceman Mick Lewis qualified for membership of the CV 200 Club during the Bushrangers' Ford Ranger Cup win in Adelaide. Mick's tally comprises 71 Premier matches (64 for Northcote, 7 for Melbourne), 60 first class and 62 one-day matches for the Bushrangers and 7 ODIs.
Northcote skipper Travis Gloury became the most prolific century scorer in the Dragons' history when he scored his 16th Premier 1st XI ton for the club. His
103 against the Rams took him past Des Fothergill on 15.
Dandenong's Matt Chasemore (right) played his 100th Premier 1st XI match.
Essendon's Ben Fletcher passed 4000 runs in Premier Cricket during his innings of 70 against the Swans.
Bulldogs' Nathan Geisler passed 2000 Premier 1st XI runs during his innings of 60* against St Kilda.
Geelong's Aaron Finch passed 2000 runs in Premier Cricket.
Jack McNamara (Camberwell Magpies), Luke Rosbrook (Carlton), Michael Beer (St Kilda) and Ben Vague (Northcote) are played their 50th Premier 1st XI matches.
Umpire Brad Davies is due to officiate in his 50th Premier match.
Ringwood scorer Jan Howard officiated in the 450th Premier 1st XI match since her first game in 1976/77.
Round 5
Geelong captain-coach Damian Shanahan took his 250th Premier 1st XI wicket in the match against Prahran.
Carlton left-arm quick Nick Austin took his 150th Premier 1st XI wicket in the match against the Hawks.
Frankston Peninsula's James Miller took his 150th Premier 1st XI wicket during his 5/56 against the Lions.
Prahran batsman Brendan McGuinness passed 1000 Premier 1st XI runs during his innings of 39 against Geelong.
Geelong's Joel Davies also passed 1000 Premier 1st XI runs in the same match. Joel scored 72 against Prahran.
Carlton's Mick Allen took his 100th catch in Premier cricket when he caught the Hawks' Ben Stallworthy.
Prahran scorer James Higgs officiated in his 200th Premier 1st XI match since making his debut in 1992/93.
Round 6
St Kilda keeper Damon Rowan is due to play his 150th Premier 1st XI match since making his debut in 1999/2000.
Tigers' keeper Adam Crosthwaite is due to play his 50th Premier 1st XI match. Adam debuted for Richmond in 2001/02.
Umpires Michael Moore (100th Premier match), Graham Slater (100th Premier match) and Steve Davis (150th Premier match) are all due to officiate in those milestone games. Michael and Graham both joined the Premier panel in 2001/02, Steve in 1998/99.
Umpire Nick Frampton is due to officiate in his 50th Premier match.
Round 7
Umpire Russ Turner is due to officiate in his 200th Premier 1st XI match, thereby qualifying for membership of the CV 200 Club. Russ originally joined the CV panel in 1992/93.
Umpire David Yelland is due to officiate in his 50th Premier match.
Bulldogs' paceman Steven Duckworth is due to play his 50th Premier 1st XI match.
