Milestones

Round 1
Prahran's Bryce McGain has qualified for membership of the exclusive CV 200 Club, but not in the Round 1 match against the Saints which was washed out. Bryce reached the milestone in the Pura Cup match against the Redbacks at the Adelaide Oval. He has played 194 Premier matches (80 for the Heat and 114 for Prahran) and the match in Adelaide was his 6th first class match for the Bushrangers.

University fast bowler Ashley Robertson played his 250th Premier 1st XI match.

Kangaroos' paceman Chris Marantelli played his 50th Premier 1st XI match, taking 4/28 against the Dragons. Marantelli played 13 matches for the Bombers (2003/04 - 2004/05).

Hawks' skipper Simon Dart took his 100th wicket in Premier Cricket when he bowled the Magpies' Jeremy Bray.

Dandenong keeper Ricky Damiano captured his 100th dismissal in the match against the Demons.

Round 2
Evan Gulbis (Carlton) andAdamBull (Dandenong) played their respective 50th Premier 1st XI matches.

Bulldogs' all-rounder Grant Lindsay passed 3,000 runs in Premier Cricket. He scored 2942 runs @ 26.74 for the Cats and has started this season at Footscray Edgewater with 32, 59 and 31 in the opening three matches.

Magpies' paceman Steve Gribble took his 100th wicket in Premier Cricket during his 4/33 against the Lions. Steve took 53 wickets@26.41 for the Tigers and has now taken 49 wickets @ 24.48 for the Magpies.

Umpire Vin McKernan is due to officiate in his 100th Premier match. Vin originally joined the CV Panel in 1997/98.

Round 3
Frankston Peninsula veteran Darren Groves is due to play his 150th Premier 1st XI match since his debut in 1995/96. Groves topped the Premier bowling aggregates last season with 47 wickets @ 16.94 and his career tally of 300 @ 20.55 is a Heat Club record.

Richmond left-hander Aiden Blizzard passed 3000 runs in Premier Cricket during his brilliant 131* against the Saints. He has now scored 3124 runs @ 42.79 for the Tigers.

Heat keeper David Nankervis passed 250 dismissals in the match against the Magpies. His tally comprises 236 catches and 15 stumpings.

Although not keeping this season, Nathan Pilon passed 100 dismissals in Premier Cricket with his catch against the Bulldogs last Sunday. Nathan's total comprises 94 catches and 6 stumpings.

Hawks'all-rounder Steven Spoljaric also went past 3000 runs in Premier Cricket last Sunday during his 64 against the Lions. He has now scored 3041 runs @ 41.09 in total for the Swans and the Hawks.

Prahran's Neil Schlittler took his 50th catch in Premier Cricket.

Phil Halbish is due to play his 100th Premier 1st XI match for the Demons. Phil previously played 22 for Prahran before crossing to Melbourne prior to the 2000/01 season.

Round 4
Paceman Mick Lewis will qualify for membership of the CV 200 Club. Mick's total of matches comprises 71 Premier matches (64 for Northcote, 7 for Melbourne), 60 first class and 61 one-day matches for the Bushrangers and 7 ODIs for Australia. Mick also took his 150th wicket in Premier Cricket in Round 2 when he bowled the Swans' Matt Hawking.

Dandenong's Matthew Chasemore is due to play his 100th Premier 1st XI match.

Jack McNamara (Camberwell Magpies), Luke Rosbrook (Carlton), Michael Beer (St Kilda) and Ben Vague (Northcote) are all due to play their 50th Premier 1st XI match.

Umpire Brad Davies (right) is due to officiate in his 50th Premier match.

Round 5
Umpire Michael Moore (right) is due to officiate in his 100th Premier match.
