Milestones

Congratulations to the following players, umpires and scorers who have achieved, or are about to achieve, notable milestones:

One-Day Quarter Finals
St Kilda's Nick Jewell passed 6,000 runs in Premier Cricket during his innings of 77 against the Cats.

One-Day Semi Finals
St Kilda's Glenn Lalor took his 200th Premier wicket in the semi against the Bombers.

Round 15
Bulldog left-arm quick Andrew McCammond took his 200th Premier wicket in the match against Melbourne Uni.

Umpires Chris Stevens and Trevor Leeden (each 150 Premier matches) and David Clement (300 Premier matches) celebrated those milestone games. David joined the CV Umpires' Panel in 1987/88.

Round 16
Northcote's Leigh Parsons played his 100th Premier 1st XI match. The first 51 of those were for Carlton. The Round 17 clash with the Swans was also Leigh's 50th match for the Dragons.

North paceman Andrew Pizaro played his 50th Premier match. The first 19 of them were for the Bulldogs.

Umpires Russ Turner (250 Premier matches), Phil Hermann (150 Premier matches), Ken Hobbs and Chris Orgill (each 50 Premier matches) achieved significant milestones.

Round 17
Casey-South Melbourne captain Mick Hansen played his 250th Premier 1st XI match since his debut in 1988/89. The first 56 of those were for Dandenong.

Richmond skipper Sam Taylor played his 150th Premier 1st XI match since his debut in 1996/97.

The Blues' Jeremy Brown played his 50th Premier match.

Umpire Neil Hitchens officiated in his 50th Premier 1st XI match.

North Melbourne's Darren Dempsey qualified for membership of the CV 200 Club in the match against the Cats. Darren played 128 matches for Ringwood and the Round 17 fixture was his 72nd for the Kangaroos.

Essendon all-rounder Craig Berger also qualified for membership of the CV 200 Club in the match against the Heat. Craig made his debut for the Bombers in 1996/97.

Geelong's Shaun Dean played his 50th Premier match.

Cats' quick Trent Walerys took his 300th wicket in Premier Cricket.

Quarter Finals
Dandenong all-rounder David Newman is due to play his 100th Premier match. The first 63 of those were for the Swans.
