A very consistent performer for Melbourne Uni for 18 seasons, with more than 8000 runs in Premier Cricket. Geoff scored 500 or more runs in a season on 9 occasions and played in Uni's 1990/91 and 1995/96 premiership teams. Geoff twice scored double-centuries, with an unbeaten 210 against the Bulldogs in 1993/94 his highest. A consistent poller in the Ryder Medal, Geoff finished equal 2nd in 1990/91 with 27 votes, equal 3rd in 1993/94 with 29 votes, equal 6th in 1992/93 with 22 votes and 8th in 1994/95 with 26 votes. Geoff played 14 first class matches for the Bushrangers between 1991/92 and 1993/94, scoring 625 runs @ 32.89, with a top-score of 116 against Tasmania at Bellerive in 1992/93. | |||||||||||||||
