Ken Eastwood played 184 matches with the Bulldogs between 1955/56 and 1977/78. He continued playing for several seasons beyond then as skipper of the Footscray 2nds and 3rds. Ken scored 6920 runs @ 32.49 for Footscray, including 11 centuries and 850 in the 1966/67 season. All of these figures remain as Club records. Ken was Footscray Club Champion in 1963/64, 1966/67 and 1972/73 and is one of only three players to have scored a century in each innings of a VCA match (v Richmond in 1966/67). He also took 106 wickets @ 20.81 for Footscray with his left-arm wrist-spinners. For Victoria, Ken played 41 First Class matches, scoring 2717 runs @ 43.13 including 9 centuries and a highest score of 221 against South Australia. Ken played one Test match, against England in 1970/71 when he replaced Bill Lawry.
